The School Envol Linguistique was born from a scientific and personal approach. As an expatriate myself since 2012 and also a researcher in foreign language acquisition, all issues related to integration are of particular interest to me. Thus, the school's mission goes beyond teaching the French language.
We want to help you learn French with all its particularities, to understand the cultural and social codes intrinsically linked to the language and to succeed in your integration.
Our objective is to help you overcome the main difficulties linked to both the acquisition of a new language and integration: understanding the differences between the different registers of the French language (colloquial French, standard French, sustained French), correcting your pronunciation, understanding the French system to carry out administrative or family-related procedures (schooling of children, requests for aid, etc.), understanding what you need to do to take up a professional activity (validation of diplomas, help with the construction of a CV and cover letter).
Our work is based on these 4 values

A highly qualified teaching team
Sensitive to issues of integration, all our teachers are expatriates themselves, or have had the experience of a long stay abroad. They therefore understand the difficulties experienced by learners and are better able to welcome and guide them.
Gabriela
director and teacher
My name is Gabriela and I've been teaching French for over ten years. I began my professional career in Brazil, my native country, which I left in 2012 to settle in France. Since then, I've taught at various institutions in different countries, including Grenoble Alpes University in France and Cambridge University in England. With a doctorate in language science, I am interested in the acquisition of French in different conversational contexts. In designing my courses, I bring not only my scientific knowledge but also my personal experience. Having lived in several countries, I know first-hand the challenges of integrating into a new culture. In my spare time, I love gardening, sewing, yoga and cooking.
Aude

I'm fluent in French, Portuguese and English, and I understand Sango, Italian and Spanish. For the past 2 years I have specialised in literary translation (Portuguese-language children's literature) as well as administrative translation. I'm particularly fond of interpreting because it's lively and interactive: I've taken part in a number of cultural events as a 'Portuguese-French' interpreter for Brazilian artists and intellectuals.Having lived in several countries and learnt many languages on the job, I understand the challenge that French represents as a language of integration!I'm going to help you learn French through conversation workshops.I look forward to meeting you soon!

Since then, I have worked for 18 months with people from all walks of life who have come to France. I then spent 6 months in Spain, in Bilbao, during which I taught in a French Institute. In 2021, I obtained a doctorate in language sciences after a thesis on the immersive teaching of Occitan in France. During my thesis, I continued to teach French in a neighbourhood association in Narbonne. I also taught sociolinguistics at the University of Montpellier. I am interested in everything related to languages and I love learning about world cultures. I share my free time between hiking, music and photography.
Jaci

My name is Jaci, I am a French teacher since 2012. My professional experience as a teacher started in France, I was an assistant teacher of Portuguese in high school (in Toulouse and Lavaur) during the school year 2011-2012. When I returned to Brazil, I started to teach French. I have already taught French in several contexts: university extension courses at the University of São Paulo, free classes and private classes. After finishing my degree in Humanities (Portuguese and French), I obtained a Master's degree in French Language Studies at the University of São Paulo and I am currently working on my PhD thesis. I have done research internships in Quebec, Canada, at the University of Sherbrooke. In my practice as a teacher, I use some elements learned during my scientific studies and training on the didactics of French as a foreign language as well as reflections on my experience as a learner of French.
Micheline
integration department
With a degree and more than 20 years of professional experience in the private sector and in teaching, I teach French as a foreign language to a varied public (adults, students, children). The years I spent abroad with my family allowed me to develop my skills with English-speaking learners from various cultures. I have recently returned to France and I am enthusiastically committed to my role as a language advisor for social and professional integration. I am fully aware of the difficulties that all newcomers face in a country that is not their own. I am a good listener and patient, and I am keen to help my fellow man. I look forward to meeting you. See you soon! Micheline
